I looked at the wikipedia article and love the following sentence:&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;i&gt;Though the plant is often grown in saltwater irrigated land in the Mediterranean Basin, it will grow without salt water.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Apparently, it will also leach salt out of soil! &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Did you find that it tasted quite salty?&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;-Elizabeth</description>
