Goodeats for 9/9/2008

I woke up this morning and did 20 minutes of cardio yoga with Tom Morley – what a great workout! I was so energized and ready to go afterwards. Then I packed Bobby’s and my lunches and headed off to work.

Breakfast: (this picture is terrible – this is why I don’t usually post breakfast pictures!)

  • apples&cinnamon oats
  • 1/2 mashed banana
  • almond butter (1-2 teaspoons?)
  • 1 nectarine
Before lunch I took my hour-long walk – 3 miles.
Lunch:
  • 1/2 mashed banana mixed with AB on toast
  • cauliflower and peppers with hummus
  • 1 fresh nectarine
Snack:
  • ~1 cup of cheerios (maybe a little more)
  • 1 dannon 0% plus (yogurt at work, 60 calories but it has aspartame)
  • 1 apple
First choir practice tonight, so a weird dinner schedule. I can’t eat before I sing – I just feel awful – so I’m going to have a small snack before and after instead of a real dinner.
Pre-choir snack:
  • a plum
  • some baby carrots

At choir they had food! I had 5 strawberries :)

Post-choir snack:
  • lots of baby carrots and cauliflower with hummus (I had more than is pictured here)
  • some (unpictured) parmesan goldfish
  • 3 cups of kamut puffs (50 cals/cup) with Fage 0%, cinnamon, 1/2 banana, and some almond butter
  • some honey roasted peanuts
Work might be crazy tomorrow and I may have to eat there… I’m not looking forward to that very much. I like getting to work early and leaving early (6:15 is early for my company – pretty much no one but me gets in before 9:50 or so).
