05 October 2008 – Afternoon/Evening

Snack: (in the style of miss Gliding Calm)

  • fruit plate!  grapes, cherry tomatoes, and raspberries – but double the grapes, because I went back for more

  • stir-fry (okra, butternut squash, eggplant, onion, carrot, sprouts, sweet and sour sauce)
  • shisamo (that’s the fish)
  • salad (romaine, onions, plum, bacon bits, cherry tomatoes, shredded carrot, TJ’s raspberry dressing) – seconds on this!

  • microwaved butternut squash with Fage 0%, unsweetened chocolate almond milk, honey, and pumpkin pie spice

I may go back for some more grapes and peanuts as well…

Have a great night!

  1. Sabrina – the blue grapes are okay. I tried one and thought it tasted really good, so I got a bunch, but now I think I prefer the red ones – they’re sweeter! The blue ones are more tart. I do like the blue ones better than the green though 🙂

  2. Yum – the fruit and veggies look so fresh! How come other people’s salads always look and taste better than the ones I make??? 🙁

  3. Haha that fish is so random. It adds a nice “sparkle” to the dish though 😉

And that dessert idea is great. Butternut squash with honey, yogurt AND almond milk? Must have been delightful.

  4. bobbi – hehe, one of my friends asked me this just yesterday. I need to say what it is in my posts! It’s greek yogurt, which means that it’s strained. It has a lot of protein (18 grams per cup), and it’s super-thick and creamy. I love it.
