Yesterday’s breakfast was simple – a wrap with 1.5 T almond butter and an apple.
I took my hour-long walk before I ate. When I got back I had lunch (which I’d made in the morning):
- egg white scramble (5 egg whites, okra, cherry tomatoes, red pepper, onion, eggplant, soy sauce) – with a lot of organic ketchup
- a wrap with AB
- another apple
Mid-afternoon I snacked on a bunch of grapes… Then that night Bobby and I went out with Griff for Griff’s birthday. We went to a place called Firehouse Grill & Brewery in Sunnyvale. I got:
- Seafood grill salad – skewers of prawn, scallop and fish (salmon and some kind of whitefish) over greens with balsamic vinaigrette on the side
Bobby got chicken pesto pizza – I had a few bites:
Then I made Bobby go to Whole Foods with me so that I could get more trail mix and pick up lentils for the blogger secret ingredient! I still don’t know what I’m going to make…
When we got home I made popcorn and topped it with half a cup of trail mix:
It was good! I had wanted to eat them together, but the trail mix all fell to the bottom (as you can see in the pic) so I had it at the end. I was reading blogs as I ate this! I also had 3 squares of really dark chocolate. Tonight (Friday) I think we’re going out yet again to meet up with some friends. We’re definitely going to be eating in all of next week!
