Kitty cat love

This morning I got up and did some vigorous yoga.  I did Tom Morley’s Buns and Thighs Yoga (On Demand, Exercise TV, 22 mins) followed by yogadownload.com‘s Power Vinyasa Flow #3 (22ish mins).  I haven’t done my Vinyasa in almost a week; I’ve been doing Ashtanga.  It was hard!  I’d forgotten what a great workout Vinyasa power yoga is.  I was a bit damp at the end.

For dessert today I had something very yummy.  I accidentally bought full-fat TJ’s Greek yogurt the other week, so I mixed together the full fat yogurt with some vanilla Chobani Greek yogurt.  I microwaved a finely chopped green apple, some grapes, and a vitabrownie.  Then I added the yogurt mix and topped it with cinnamon. The full fat yogurt really adds some flavor. I don’t know if I can go back to fat free!

Couscous (my fat tabby cat) has been walking all over my lap the entire time I was writing this post, so it took me forever!  He kept typing random letters and moving the mouse so sentences would start in the middle of other sentences and not have endings.  I think he just wants some love, so here’s a nice picture for you all to enjoy.

In other news, we’re visiting my parents for Christmas.  We’re also going to see some of Bobby’s family that lives in that area.  We’ll be in the Princeton/Manhattan/Philly area from the 25th (late at night) ’til early on January 1st.  Meet-ups anyone?  Email me.

My foot flared up again and is so painful I can barely walk on it, let alone do yoga :( I think I’ll meditate anyway just to stretch out, lean & lengthen my lil muscles!

OH COUSCOUS! When Annie does that we say she looks like an otter. :) All your food looks delish. I really like your combos. I feel like if we got together for meals we’d end up smashing a bunch of stuff together and eating it with a spoon. :)

Couscous – great cat name! Love the Asian inspired omelette. I once bought Total Fage instead of the fat free version by accident. It tasted like custard – amazing! I should buy more and mix it with low fat – good idea.
