If you haven’t checked out my FAQ and Workout pages, go look!
Last night I had written up a nice summary of a weekend yoga workshop happening in San Francisco next weekend (Jan 24th-25th) and I was going to ask anyone who is in the area to come… But it’s sold out! I tried to register and they e-mailed me back today. I’m on the waiting list. CHECK IT OUT.
Speaking of yoga, I recently found some awesome yoga tunes. I got the first three volumes of a set called Ayurveda Buddha Lounge. It’s very nice, relaxing, chill music.
This morning I had some lovely oats and a small piece of scone. I was ravenous by noon so I broke out my lunch before my walk – a 1 egg, 2 egg-white omelette with bok choy, tomato, woodear mushroom (love these), and some scallions with a generous handful of shredded cheddar.
I ate this with two baby fuji apples on the side… but then I was hungry again. I had an instant oatmeal (apples & cinnamon) for a snack and that seemed to work. I also chugged hot tea, diet coke, and water. I have been a bottomless pit the last few days and I don’t know why. Before I left work I munched on a few bites of scone to hold me over, because I was going to…
The thrift store! Amy always finds such cute things and I wanted to check it out. I ended up getting some really cute veggie bowls ($0.99 each):
An adorable doggie purse ($4.99):
Books ($2.99 and $1.99):
I got a big huge blue pot with a steamer attachment too ($9.99). The best part – everything was 40% off of those prices! You should all go check out your thrift stores. My brother has been telling me they are cool for years, but I never really believed him.
For dinner I made the same thing that I did last night – egg-white French toast topped with full-fat yogurt, strawberry maple syrup, and fruits (banana, apricot). Bobby had a business dinner so I was on my own.
After dinner I had a baby Fuji and a bunch of these Dulce de Leche Meringue Cookies (from Whole Foods) that I saw on Erin’s blog the other week. I might have more baby Fujis later. I got the bowl below at the thrift store too ($0.99).
Now I’m just chilling and watching The Princess Diaries – Anne Hathaway was cute before she got a little crazy! (I still love her though.) Have a great night lovelies!
