This week we’re going to try eating out a bit more – Bobby has recognized that I’m in a rut and he’s making me face my fears… He’s pretty awesome like that. Plus I want to practice eating macrobiotically (somewhat) in restaurants.
Menu for the Week of March 08 – March 14
Sunday
dinner – at Sprout Cafe in Palo Alto (salads, soups, sandwiches)
dessert – at Fraiche in Palo Alto (soy frozen yogurt for me)
Monday
dinner – on my own (Bobby has band); veggie stirfry with kabocha fries
dessert – fresh fruit salad
Tuesday
dinner – Sushi night (not sure which restaurant yet)
dessert – frozen grapes
Wednesday
dinner – Blue Mango in Santa Clara
dessert – VitaTop/Muffin with peanut butter
Thursday
dinner – Cheesecake Factory (I always get the chopped salad & I love their brown bread)
dessert – minneola oranges
Friday
dinner – nectarine & tofu stirfry
dessert – apples and peanut butter
Saturday
dinner – maybe out with Bobby’s cousins? we haven’t seen them in a few months…
dessert – fruit! (major theme this week in dessert-land)
Breakfasts – oats, oat bran, wheat bran, bananas, peanut butter, miso soup, nectarines, oranges, kashi waffles
Lunches – leftovers, kabocha, pitas with peanut butter, pitas with avocado blends (like the chocolate thing I put on my oats), lots of spinach-ey things (I bought a 2 pound bag that I need to use up)
MPM is usually hosted by Organizing Junkie, but this week it’s being guest-hosted at $5 Dinners. Check out more great menus there!
Haha how awesome of your man to MAKE you eat out 🙂 He’s def a keeper!

I’ve never heard of Sprout. Sounds good! I was at fraiche last night. 🙂 Yum!!
Our favorite sushi restaurant is in Santa Clara. It is called Sushi O’Sushi. They have lots of really creative delicious rolls.
Love that fro-yo!!
Good luck with everything! I went to my favorite sushi place last week and I think I’m going to pick up a sushi pack from Safeway one day for lunch this week. Also…I may be going to cheesecake factory this week as well so I’ll keep you posted! It’s between that and California Pizza Kitchen which I also love for this one amazing salad they have…

Ohhh… soy frozen yogurt!
I like how you planned out your meals. Everything sounds super good!
That looks like a great plan!! I also love the brown bread at Cheesecake Factory – we always have to ask for more 🙂 Never tried that salad, may have to give it a go next time. Good luck!

Looks like a plan, Stan.
I’m such a dork, I might just beat myself up and take my own lunch money.
Looks like a yummy meal plan. The frozen yogurt looks delicious 😀
Great menu plan!
Love your blog, by the way! Do you mind if I add it to my blogroll?

looking forward to read more about your macrobiotic eating in restaurants! 😀
That’s such a great plan!
I’m glad BObby holds you accountable. He’s such the package girl!
I can’t stand getting in food ruts! But ya know what, it happens to all of us! I think it’s a good thing when you have to say you are gonna try to eat out a little bit more. with most people it’s the other way around:)
living the good life there, eh?
great meal plan- the soy froyo looks so good!
Looks like a great plan! I need to get to Fraiche (I’m in SF so it’s a bit of a trek just for frozen yogurt) because there’s nowhere in City to get soy frozen yogurt and I am seriously craving some!
