We had a really nice Saturday… in the afternoon we were going to see Food, Inc. in Palo Alto but got stuck in traffic and ended up getting there 20 minutes late. So we decided to see it another time (today I hope) and instead get my favorite soy frozen yogurt.

This was a medium soy frozen yogurt topped with the freebies – cinnamon, nutmeg, and cocoa. Bobby got a natural/chocolate swirl (dairy) with strawberries. He got the small. Whattttt.
I also scored these OPI polishes buy one get one free (discontinued colors). They’re shimmery but you can’t really see it here.

Later that night I had parent-teacher conferences from 7-8pm, and they went overtime. Boo. We were a little late to a comedy show (Johnny Walker and Brent Weinbach) but we enjoyed it a lot. They were both hysterical. My sense of humor is… odd. I don’t know how much a normal person would have liked it, but I was highly amused.
Finally got home around 10pm and I was hungry again (what else is new?). I made some kabocha drizzled with a sample of Sunbutter and more sesame seeds.

I found another new snack that I didn’t take a picture of – basmati rice with Sunbutter. It’s delicious.
I made an awesome dish on Friday night based on a HealthyYum. It rocked, and I’ll share the recipe tomorrow.
How was your weekend?

Your yogurt looks delicious! Twist soft serve is pretty much the best thing ever.
I’m in the same boat with the need to gain and healthy fat additions, so bring on the avocado, nut butters and seeds (toasted sesame seeds go with anything–or at least I pretend they do).
OPI deal? Score!

All the food looks great! I am bad at bingeing on nutbutters so I don’t keep them in the house. I need to make friends with them.
Weekend is perfect!
