Here’s a nice new idea for dinner…

I made a sealeg salad (imitation crab meat) with mayo (a must), mustard, lime juice, chili powder, and celery. I think that was it. On the side I had some sauerkraut (random! on sale at Whole Foods; Bobby and I love it). I also had raw corn. Raw corn has become a staple in my diet and I’ve been having several ears each day.
I also made more gazpacho. I’ll post the recipe soon, I promise. All together now…

It was really good. Bobby subbed rice for the raw corn and also had natto. This was a “flesh” meal for me, in terms of food combining. A great dessert to follow a flesh meal would be raw corn with honey and cocoa powder (like I posted about yesterday) and some dark chocolate on its own.
Today I’m thankful for trying new things, for how happy I am with my current situation, and for my fiance. He’s the most amazing man I’ve ever met and I can’t wait to get married and spend the rest of our lives together

oh I love crab! even the imitation kind. years and years ago, when I got in the mood, I would warm some up and make a sandwich out of with GASP butter! It was like crab from the restaurant!
Seafood salad w corn???? MMMMMM

I’ve been meaning to try the raw corn with salt and stevia combo – but after reading so much about the GMO corn, and watching Food Inc, I’m trying to cut back on my corn intake for a bit!

Man, I haven’t had imitation crab in ages. It used to be like a treat me and my dad would eat together when I was little. My mom hated it but we loved it
. I am in desperate need of some seafood!!

Aw you are so cute
I’m so happy for you and Bobby!
And I love sauerkraut too! I make veggie ruebens on my panini maker.
You’re really enticing me with all this raw corn, I love it and ears are on sale around here at most grocery stores but I’m waiting a few more days until I really do need to shop because otherwise I go out for one thing and come back with 20 more I don’t need!

I am looking for a sea leg salad (cold) to take to an outdoor fiesta. I used to have it with an Aunt of mine and it was delicious. I don’t know how to make it and she has passed away so I can’t ask her and I can’t seem to find it online. Can you help me with this? I know it had sea legs and mayo and I can’t remember what else. Thank you for your time.
