  1. I am honest on my blog, as honest as possible. I am a teacher so there are a lot of things I can’t say about work, especially since my co-workers read my blog. Sometimes I wish I didn’t associate my real name with my blog, but then I guess that wouldn’t be honest. I love both of those shoes btw!

  2. I believe in honesty, but that there’s no need for full disclosure. Since I work in the health field, I can’t discuss specific patients, and I even limit my discussion of work as much as possible. Generally, though, I’m pretty open about my personal life though!

  3. Great post Maggie! I appreciate honesty in blogs. Not everything is puppies and rainbows and sometimes you just have to put things in blunt terms. I am very honest on my blog and hopefully that comes through!

  4. Just be you and show us whatever it is you want to show us. I’m the same way on mine. It’s your little piece of cyber space and I would visit even if you talked about the phone book or something mundane ๐Ÿ˜‰ Love the upgrades!

  5. Love this. If your real, then that is all that matters. I am honest on my blog…but I am “too” honest , as in TOO vulnerable and I don’t like it. Makes me think I will start a new one…so on the fence over it.
I need to go read your updated pages now!

  6. You have so many awesome, useful links. So glad you added the new sections! Honesty is the best policy, as they say. Blogging can pigeon-hole people, so it’s great to see different sides ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. Love the new look. I try to be honest on my blog … but the days I don’t write anything, you can pretty much bank on me having gone off the rails. I may fudge my true “badness” when I write my next post (i.e. “forget” to confess to eating a cupcake or burger or two).

  8. Sometimes I’m too honest on my blog haha that said, as I run a book reviewing blog, I do have a disclaimer that says I will be honest. Unfortunately, some people/publishers still seem to have issues with that.

Anyhoo, love the shoes! I ordered some new Wellies for my trip to Ireland, and I’m dying to receive them ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. I try to be as honest as I can, but it can be tricky because everyone has access to read it and I have no problem with blog friends reading, but what if it reaches family members and coworkers?
Can I just say, when I see my site of a blog roll, my hear flutters a bit. Its like seeing your name on a marquee and I feel somewhat appreciated and that at least someone looks forward to a new post. I guess everyone is doing upgrades cause I just did a few re-touches my self.

  10. Love the new look!

I am pretty honest on my blog–I am who I am and I’m happy about it. If its something I feel comfortable sharing, I do!

I need to update my blogroll in a bad way!

  11. I think i’m an open book in both aspects really. There are things I don’t blog about but if asked I would….almost ๐Ÿ˜‰

I need new shoes very badly!

  12. Thank you for being so open, honest, and willing to share your story. That takes a lot of courage, but it means so much to me to hear it. You have been on quite a journey, and I’m glad that you’re finally finding some peace and freedom. You and your husband seem so happy together—you are both blessed to have each other! Best wishes for your new marriage and continued recovery. You have so much to LIVE for!

  13. haha i love your honesty. I always find it so refreshing to read blogs where girls don’t care about using the F-word, or cursing, or voicing their strong opinions about certain issues, or to show that they’re angry, ashamed, or that they’re hurting. Many blogs I read are full of happy, sweet, chirpy posts. After a while, they all blend into the same voice. So, thank you for your honesty. ๐Ÿ™‚

  14. You know, I’ve been falling more and more in love with you lately. You rock, Maggie. It seems like this wedding has bound you to a man, but created a spunkier, bolder individual. Or maybe it has nothing to do with the marriage at all. Either way, I’m loving it.

I dunno. Do you think I’m honest in my blog? I try to be. but sometimes there’s a fine line between honesty and getting overly personal.

You know I’m not so much into the healthy living fitness stuff. But as you said, it’s YOUR blog. But for me, I love the recaps of all your favorite happenings in the blog world. And also, just your plain bold personal posts.

  15. I’m pretty honest on my blog. If for some reason there is an issue that a commenter brings up that I’m not comfortable with answering via the blog, then I just send it in an email. I tend to focus more on the food that I make rather than ‘this is my day, this is everthing I ate, etc….’ I love blogs like that, but I don’t feel that that is what I want to blog about. And just so you know, when you said ‘f that shit yo’, it made me smile. That is like something that one of my friends would say! ๐Ÿ™‚
